The EVT 4000e has all the exciting features of the EVT line of bikes including the new lithium battery technology and battery management modes.  Owners of the EVT 4000e can also take advantage of the “Hot Swap” program with Bicycle Works, and get a fully charged battery to simply insert and drive away.

General Features:

Direct Driven Rim Motor

• 95% efficiency and 14.7 w/km power consumption
• Less transmission loss than regular electric motors

Over-current protection

• The current is monitored to prevent the motor from overloading

Battery energy management

• An LED light shows precisely how much battery power remains
• When the battery energy approaches a lower limit of about 10%, a warning will sound and power will be reduced to half.  Sound will become increasingly regular and power will eventually shut down if driving continues
• When brakes are applied, the battery power to the motor is cut off, to increase safety and conserve energy

Power (P) and Economic (E) dual driving modes

• Two different driving modes – Power (P) and Economic (E) – can be selected by the driver for normal or driving or for battery conservation

Double Braking
